What is a women's shelter?
A women's shelter is a center where women and children who are in difficult life
situations can come to for support. Many of those who live in this center have been victims of domestic violence and have been forced to leave their own homes.
These centers offer the temporary shelter,
protection, psychological help, and emotional support needed to recover and reintegrate into society. Children in these circumstances have limited access to high quality education, and many lack the motivation to learn.
About us
Since 2020, we have been committed to our mission of providing online lessons for the children residing at women's shelters across Kazakhstan.
In the face of unprecedented challenges brought about by the pandemic, the overall quality of education in schools experienced a noticeable decline, particularly impacting children facing already limited resources.
This dire situation prompted us to confront a pressing question: How can we meaningfully support vulnerable children?
This question acted as a catalyst for a solution - accessible online tutoring.
Recognizing the need to adapt and innovate, we saw an opportunity to bridge the gap left by the traditional education system.
Online tutoring emerged as a solution to the immediate challenge of disrupted schooling, ensuring that their educational journey continued unhindered despite the obstacles before them.
CURRENTLY
As we look back on our journey since 2020, we take immense pride in the impact we have achieved.
We have witnessed the spark of enthusiasm reignite in the eyes of these children, and we have been privileged to play a role in building a bridge of opportunities that stretches beyond the challenges of today.
Online tutoring has evolved from a response to adversity into a symbol of resilience and determination, reminding us that education knows no bounds when driven by compassion and a commitment to a brighter future.
